![]() Categories of apps range from lifestyle to personal financing, through project management, productivity, creativity, hacks for Mac, etc… Most of the apps presented here are part of the Setapp package – on top of being available individually at a cost of course. Like with Netflix, no one will ever find interest in all 150, but quite a few of them are great. For a cost of 9.99 USD per month (less for yearly subscriptions), one gains access to more than 150 tools and applications. To resume, this is the Netflix of OsX apps. The Setapp application menu resembles the App Store main menu. I therefore found it useful to list some of my favorite ones here. Strangely enough, most of these applications are not available directly from the Apple store, and therefore require some geekiness to be discovered. In addition, some application developers worked hard to answer the few gaps that exist between OsX and Windows in an office environment. This being said, the Office suite also works perfectly on Macs, while the OsX gestures, stability of Mac computers and intuition of the OsX system make for strong improvements in any workflow. The Notes, Calendar and Tasks applications are also relatively basic compared to what the Office suite proposes. This may be somehow true when looking at the « out of the box » setup of Mac computers, as it doesn’t offer many useable productivity tools, other than the usual Pages, Keynotes and Numbers suite. ![]() This brief experience with Windows made me question the common belief according to which Apple computers are best suited for design professionals and individual use, while Windows based machines are better fits for office work. I have recently re-switched to Mac OsX, after one year of Windows use in my work environment. Swish Club is also a favourite spot for film and TV shooting.Hello everyone! Once again, today’s post isn’t about watches but is more geeky. Among them are TV and film personalities and well-known DJs. Swish Club caters for students of a wide age range from Hong Kong and all over the world. One of our contributions was offering complimentary or low-cost Muay Thai lessons to the underprivileged. We also received Corporate Partnership Recognition by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for our sustainable community contributions. Our devotion to social responsibility has brought us the Caring Company Award by the Hong Kong Council of Social Science for four consecutive years between 20. In 2007, we had another expansion and moved to an even more spacious venue of 5,000 sq ft in Causeway Bay our current location to cater for both mixed-gender and ladies training. to accommodate the increasing student base. In 2006, we expanded and relocated our Wanchai branch to a larger venue of 2,000 sq ft. In 2004, we opened our second branch in Causeway Bay exclusively for ladies training. Despite the socio-economic challenges, we grew steadily with a fighters endurance. It was first operated as a modest-sized Thai boxing gym in Wanchai with a small number of dedicated students and instructors. With a professional team of 10 native Thai coaches, we promise to offer the most personalised, effective and fun Muay Thai training in Hong Kong.Ĭarrying the resilient spirit of Muay Thai, Swish Club was founded in May 2003, just after the fatal SARS epidemic. We believe the speed and strength of Muay Thai can spark off positive changes in our students. Swish goes a swift, yet significant change of thought that brings life-long impact to your life. Swish goes the speed of a whip-like Muay Thai kick. Swish goes the sound of wind, invisible and intangible. 'Swish', an animated word for sound, speed and action, is fundamental to Swish Clubs philosophy.
